In addition to the newly announced Canon EOS R6 Mark II (Amazon, B&H, Adorama), Canon is rumored to announce the new Canon EOS R5 Mark II mirrrorless camera in Q2 of 2023.
In terms of specifications, the Canon EOS R5 Mark II will have a newly developed 61MP full frame CMOS BSI sensor and Dual DIGIC X processor, and it will support internal 8K 60p, 4K 30p/60p/120p, as well as FHD 240p video recording.

- New overheat prevention design similar to EOS R6 Mark II, at least 40min for 8K video, and over
- 60 min for 4K video

- 9.44M-dot EVF
- New design of vari-angle LCD monitor optimized for video shooting
- Launch time: 2023 Q2
If the specs this time are true, it seems that the Canon EOS R5 Mark II will be a big evolution with the new adoption of a new 61MP high-pixel back-illuminated sensor, dual DIGIC X processor, 9.44 million dot EVF, etc.
