Canon has released a minor firmare update version 1.7.0 for Canon EOS R5 and EOS R6 mirrorless cameras. Now the firmware updates are available for download on Canon USA’s site.

Firmware Version 1.7.0 incorporates the following fixes:
- 1. Fixes an issue that, in rare instances, may result in the camera not operating normally when capturing small subjects.
